Bright double room in 2 bed flat
Hi! Looking for a friendly and down to earth person to join me in 2 bed flat available from 11th March.
Room is a bright, medium-sized double with two large windows which let in a lot of natural light. There is a small driveway area directly outside the flat which you could have sole use of if you have a car. We have a small pebbled garden out the back which could do with a bit of sprucing but is great to catch the afternoon sun (when we are lucky enough to have some!). Also very close to Horfield Common so I often go and sit up there in the summer if wanting a bit more outside space. Flat is in a good location just off Gloucester Road so near to several pubs, supermarkets and transport links but on a reasonably quiet road.
You would be living with me (Hannah) a 29 year old professional working full time for the NHS. I’m pretty laid back about most things but I like to be house proud and keep things tidy. I often have to get up and out of the house quite early for work so I’m reasonably quiet and chilled in the evenings during the week and would like new housemate to be considerate of that. On the weekend, I usually like to wind down, have a few drinks and listen to some tunes (I particularly like liquid dnb). Definitely not a party house but occasionally have friends over for food, drinks and games in less covidy times. I enjoy cooking, yoga and walks and like going to music gigs, festivals, pub gardens etc and can’t wait for things to get back to some sort of normality again!
A professional with a full time, permanent job preferred (not furloughed or working from home). Ideally someone with similar interests, who is reasonably sociable but also respectful of others’ space and privacy. Since the flat is quite small and there is not a huge amount of space, it would suit someone who doesn’t have too much stuff to store. Would be nice to find someone who’s up for hanging out and having a few drinks now and again but also has their own stuff going on.
