Really big, light double room in four person house

The bedroom is really big, with wooden floors and lots of light. The room is unfurnished, but does have a small walk-in cupboard with shelves and a rail which can hold a lot of clothes. It’s at the top of a four storey house and has a great view over Bristol.

The house is a really lovely home in central Montpelier. The landlord really cares about the house, as do we, which shows! It was completely refurbished two years ago, and has wooden floors and white walls throughout. We have a vestibule, yup, a vestibule, a big kitchen and a good size living room. There are gardens at the front and back of the house and the extremely important paddling pool for the summertime.

The house is in a great spot in Bristol. Montpelier train station is a stone’s throw away, you can be in Stokes Croft in minutes, town in ten, the harbourside in 25 and the same for Clifton. There are lots of bars, shops, cafes and restaurants that you can be at quicker than you can say ‘location, location, location.’

We are three friends that have lived in the house for two years. Our fourth housemate is being an adult and moving in with her boyfriend, and we’re looking for someone as brilliant to fill the void she is going to leave. No pressure! We are all late twenties and mostly work normalish office hours. We cook together and do spend a lot of time hanging out – whether that’s binging on Buffy or RuPaul, or going to Canteen, gigs, festivals or the odd walk. We’d love to have someone that feels comfortable hanging out, but also doesn’t feel under any pressure to spend every waking minute with us. We’re super excited by the chance to meet some great new people that might be able to broaden our experience of Bristol!

The house contract is a year – but you can leave earlier, as long as you give the landlord two months notice.
