Want to live with me? Great flatmate wanted :)

Hi there! I'm Tom and I've been renting a lovely, large two bedroom flat by myself for the last few months and while it's been fine living alone over the summer I'd really like to find a flatmate and a new friend.

The flat is on the first floor of a purpose built block on the edge of Redland and Westbury Park and very close to the top of Whiteladies Road and Clifton Downs. It's a nice quiet location but within walking distance of lots of great pubs, restaurants, shops, bus routes and Clifton Down station.

The room is a decent sized double with built-in wardrobes and bedside tables and furnished with a double bed frame and mattress that has only been used in an occasional guest bedroom before. My bedroom has an en-suite shower room so the second bedroom has sole use of the main bathroom which has a bath with a good shower over it.

The rest of the flat consists of a very spacious lounge and dining area leading out to a large balcony and a good sized kitchen with a double oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine and full height fridge/freezer. At the moment most of the furniture is stuff I've accumulated quite recently so some quite basic Ikea bits and it could definitely do with some additions so anyone moving in would be welcome to bring their own furniture if it will fit.

I would really like to meet someone who wants to live in a welcoming, friendly and relaxed environment without any stress and I hope we can socialise together sometimes, cook meals for each other and enjoy some chilled evenings in with wine and Netflix. I'm a bit of a maturing geek and have a few consoles so if you enjoy a spot of gaming you'll be well catered for!

Although I'd have preferred to rent from a private landlord I liked this place so much I had to be willing to rent through Andrews Letting so anyone keen on renting with me would have to go through their referencing checks, sign a contract and pay an agency fee which I have been told is £246 unfortunately. I don't like agencies but they've been okay so far and I hope this won't put you off if you're interested in becoming my flatmate.
