Lovely flat just off North Street

I’m looking for someone to move into the spare room in my flat with me, which is located just off North Street on a quiet road.

It’s a 2min walk from The Spotted Cow pub and Tesco Express, and just a 15/20min walk to Wapping Wharf/Harbourside/Temple Meads Station.

The flat is on the ground floor and has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen living & dining room and a lovely little outdoor terrace which is south facing so gets the sunshine all afternoon and evening so really nice in the summer.

The flat is furnished but the available room is unfurnished. It does come with blackout curtains, a shelf, and a large built-in double wardrobe with loads of storage.

The Kitchen is nice and modern and has a good size fridge/freezer, induction hob, dishwasher, and washing machine. The bathroom was recently updated so is in really good condition. I have an en-suite so only really use the main one for baths so you’d mostly have it for yourself.

There is on-street parking available between 6pm-8am during the week and throughout the weekend and also a secure bike shed.

A bit about me: I am a self-employed professional working in events. I’m easy-going and consider myself kind and thoughtful. I love eating, cooking and feeding people, being outside, weekend walks, bike rides, swimming, comedy, travelling and spending time with family & friends.

It would be great to find someone similar, who is friendly and easy-going and likes to keep the place tidy! This is my home which I love, and I’d like to live with someone who is respectful of that but also wants to make it their home away from home too. As it would only be the 2 of us, I am hoping with the right housemate we’d hang out, shoot the breeze, cook dinner or just chill and watch TV. I have lived on my own for a bit in the past so do enjoy my own space and respect other people needing theirs too.

I am good friends with the neighbours above me, and my current housemate is buying on the top floor so keen to have someone move in who’s warm, friendly and open to joining in with us and to help keep up the nice neighbourly dynamic we currently have.

Bills are currently £155 p/m each (Everything is included in that including a Bi-Weekly cleaner) energy rate is fixed until Oct 2023. Trying to get into good habits of turning things off, not leaving lights on etc so would be good to live with someone whose conscious of those things too.
