I am renting out the second bedroom in my home in St Anne's, Bristol. It's a large double bedroom overlooking the garden in a cosy house.
About the house...
The bedroom is shown as furnished but will be available unfurnished.
Large bathroom upstairs (with double head / waterfall shower) and smaller toilet downstairs.
Big garden which I really enjoy working on. Still lots to do (e. g. a fruit and veg patch in 2021!) so if you're green-fingered, it would be great to get out there together. The garden gets so much sun so I often sunbathe out there when it's nice.
Kitchen comes with dishwasher, tumble dryer, washing machine, induction cooker, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, large fridgefreezer and lots of storage.
The living room has a 3-seater sofa and a 2-seater sofa, a large TV and a log burner.
It's end of terrace with no neighbours on the other side so it's nice and quiet.
Pets: happy to discuss this with you (cats preferred). Sorry, no dogs.
Location...
St Anne's is a quiet and leafy suberb with a park and a woods nearby. There is also a Co-op about 8 minutes walk away plus two great Chinese takeaways which are very close.
15-20 minute walk to Church Road in St George. 10-15 minute cycle to Temple Meads and town. There are also regular buses to town. On-street parking available.
About me and what I'm looking for...
In the week, I work a normal 9am - 5:30pm job - I am working from home at the moment and may be going into the office one day a week from July. I usually just watch TV or a film, or listen to music and chill in the evenings. Sometimes during the week and at the weekends, I'll see friends and family.
I'm a laid back, clean and tidy person, looking for a relaxed, clean, calm and considerate housemate to share my home, and occasional beer/wine/dinner, with.
My party days are in the past now but I enjoy a night at the pub sometimes, and I'm looking for someone with a similar mindset.
Non-smoker preferred but this isn't a deal breaker - just no smoking in the house.
I'm an early bird so tend to be in bed by 10-11pm and up around 8am.
