URGENT Room in lovely two bed flat in Totterdown
Hi, I’m Ellie, I’m a 30 year old paralegal and am looking for someone to replace my current housemate from no later than July 1st (but ideally to move in June) as my previous housemate has moved in with his partner.. At the moment I am wfh 9-5ish but will be going back to the office probably for the majority of the week at some point in the next few months.
The room is a decent sized double, unfurnished. There is a furnished living room / kitchen and a teeny lockable courtyard which would fit a bike or a couple of chairs in summer.
The flat is in a good location about 10 mins walk from temple meads / 25 mins from town. Lots of nice local shops / amenities nearby in Totterdown. Usually on street parking available.
On top of rent bills come to £108 (inc Internet, council tax, water, tv license) but that’s not including gas and electric which is on a meter so it varies depending on the time of year.
About me, I am not a big party person and do enjoy my downtime at home but I have good friends locally and did like going to meet friends for walks, coffee , to the pub and out to eat pre-Rona. I like to read or paint or watch a juicy tv series or documentary (Louis Theroux forever) and probably spend a bit too much time watching baby animal videos. I would like a similar minded housemate who is happy to have a natter/g&t/watch something/occasional deliveroo but also respects personal space when needed. I am admittedly a bit shy at first but I do come out of my shell once I know you!
