Ensuite room out in the hills

I have a large double room to rent with ensuite shower room and its own entrance. There is also a worktop area with sink, kettle and microwave. Use of kitchen and sitting room in the house, both with woodburning stoves.

The house is in a wonderful location, 2 kms down a track in a glen in the Cairngorms National Park. It is very remote with no public transport (nearest village is Tomintoul). With its remote location the wifi is not very good and mobile phone reception is limited. You should not expect to to be able to stream a Netflix boxset here!

The room is available initially just for May and June though this could be extended depending on other commitments.

The property would suit a creative person looking for space and quiet to work, someone who loves the countryside and wildlife or someone looking to get away from it all. Also ideal for someone working locally.

At present I work from home some of the time though I am sometimes away. I live in the house on my own - my children and partner are frequent visitors.

I am vegetarian and would be looking for someone who is happy to be vegetarian when using any shared cooking spaces.
