An older widower is seeking a Sharer for his home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

He would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around his home in the evenings and overnight. He would also like some general practical help around the home such as picking up shopping, cooking up to four or five meals each week, light cleaning and tidying, some help in his large garden, and ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is either a single or double bedroom and shared use of the bathroom, kitchen and garden.

The property is in Crockham Heath, a village 3 miles to the west of Newbury (approx. 10 minutes drive). This would suit a car owner/driver (there is parking).

He used to be a hairdresser and enjoys golf and snooker.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests. He is hard-of-hearing so clear English important (or Italian).
