£700 BILLS INCLUDED
Hi! We are a couple looking for a lodger to live in our spare bedroom. We'd ideally want something longer term if the vibes are right!
Will and I have been together for over 6 years we have separate rooms as we both love having our own space. We are looking for someone to fill the third bedroom as our friend is due to move out soon.
We enjoy the quiet life, love board games and chilling. We don't drink often but occasionally have people over for dinner parties or game nights. We like to keep the environment clean and tidy. We would love someone we get on with, but appreciate the need for personal space, so introverts are very welcome! More details on the room and house below:
It is a medium sized double bedroom (2mx4m) at the back of the house with a rear facing view. It's south-west facing which means it stays nice and bright, and the sun streams in during the afternoon. It comes with a double bed and a chest of drawers (not pictured), aside from that the room is unfurnished. The room is upstairs on a small landing slightly apart from our rooms, so it feels a bit separate.
As for the rest of the house: There is a dining room, a separate shared living room, a galley kitchen (with a dishwasher), a pantry room with a washing machine, and a bathroom with a shower and bathtub (excellent water pressure) and two windows. There is also a second toilet attached to the living room. The garden is small, and currently undergoing works to make it a nice place to hang out, but it is currently a work site.
Will works as a handyman and is slowly improving the house. The main bulk of the work is finished now, but there may be ongoing projects so sometimes tools are around and areas get temporarily messy, we try to keep things tidy and neat in general. Because of this, we feel someone who doesn't WFH full time might be a better fit.
There is a front garden patio, with a locked secure bike shed and bin shelter. The area we live, St Judes, can have problems with fly tipping, etc, but our neighbours are lovely, and it's a very convenient location:
- Bus stop for 24/48 one minute walk
- Riverside park 2 mins walk
- Easton leisure centre 2 mins
- Cabot Circus 10 mins walk
- Bloc climbing center or The climbing academy 15 mins walk
- Lidl and Lawrence hill train station 15 mins walk
- Aldi and Tesco's extra 30 mins walk
- M32 - 1 minute drive
There are many convenience stores nearby with a local post office down the road.
