Lakeshore, Crox Bottom, Bristol, is a unique development of eco homes sitting over its own lake. I have a lake side balcony, at my two bedroom apartment.

There are landscaped gardens for all residents, set on a former farm, the apartment space has extra high ceilings, full height glazing, underfloor heating and a good size bedroom for the right lodger. The lake is surrounded with lots of spaces to spend your time, including allotments, BBQ areas, nature trails and a table tennis area and gym are on site too.

This Grade II Listed building, former home of Imperial Tobacco, sits in ten acres of green space. There is an M&S Food Hall and Aldi five minutes walk away, TK Max and Boots the chemist.

***You would have your own bathroom, toilet and direct access to the washing machine and utility room, but there is an unusual set up that might not suit everybody!***

My apartment is open plan (think Scandi / Ikea style) and my mezzanine bedroom (which has its own shower room). I need a lodger who is very quiet and respectful. The living area/TV could only be used 5-9pm as that space also accommodates my office. Full access to the kitchen and own fridge but with the caveat that my bedroom is above there so would only suit very quiet lodgers only. Would be ideal for someone who simply needs a base, a double bed, wardrobe and kitchen/dining area but is happy to spend time in their bedroom, given the unusual set-up with my open plan mezzanine overlooking the living area and office space.
