Would you like to share the spacious, comfortable home and garden of a retired army officer on a residential estate in Aylesbury?

The Householder is a sociable person who has led a full and active life. Rugby, and more recently, golf have been important in his life, and gardening, cooking, food, history and sport are all key interests. Owing to severe visual impairment and reduced mobility due to arthritis, the Householder would now very much like to find the right person to share his home.

The householder would like someone who would like to feel ‘at home’, mainly be around in the evenings and who enjoys food, cooking and good, stimulating conversation. Someone who enjoyed listening to stories and probably shared some of the Householder’s interests could be a good match.

The Householder has regular, ongoing support, with cleaning, shopping, household tasks and paperwork. Someone who would be happy to help a little with light housework would be appreciated, but essentially this Homeshare arrangement is about companionship and some help with cooking.

This would suit an independent female, of any age, who shares some of the Householder’s interests, is understanding of someone with ‘old fashioned values’ and would be happy to help in the ways outlined above. A car driver would be ideal.
