House Share - Fab House in Chesham

I've been house-sharing for 22 years, first at University and then since graduating, moving when I've needed to, following work around the country. I've seen some real dives, and some really nice house-shares - so I know a bit about the house share thing :)

I had the opportunity to buy a really fab house ten years ago, and Spareroom helped me find three really fab house-mates to share it with. One of them has decided to go travelling round Europe, so I am looking for a new house-mate to join us. I’d like to think it's somewhere you'd be proud to call home for a bit.

The house is in a quiet bit of Chesham, 5 minutes walk to the countryside, and 15 minutes walk to the town centre and tube station to get into London. We also have a regular bus service from the end of the street which goes to Amersham town centre/Amersham Hospital and on to High Wycombe which is useful if you work there. Otherwise, unless you know the area you'll probably want a car.

I work in the engineering industry, and flip between working at home, working locally and traveling for work. At the weekend I like to go flying light aircraft and hot air balloons.

The room is a double room which comes with its own built in wardrobe, double bed and desk. The bathroom is shared, but only with other house-mates :) (I've got my own).

The house has two sitting rooms, one lounge with a sofa and widescreen TV, and a reading room / conservatory. The kitchen is spacious and has a microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, big fridge-freezer, and an integrated oven and hob. The dining room is open plan, adjoining the kitchen and has a large 6-place table. We are well set up for work from home days with a choice of work areas and cable broadband.

There is also a garden with lawn and decking, and a pond, which is great for relaxing in or BBQing (when it's sunny) and it gets the sun pretty much all day.
