Welcome to our home

Lovely double rooms in very comfortable and friendly family home in the heart of the countryside with private parking and large garden. We look for respectful like minded house guests with senses of humour to join us, various pets and occasionally visiting adult children. The rooms are fully furnished. House guests and visitors have sole use of family bathroom and separate shower room and have the use of a comfortable breakfast room, fully equipped kitchen and conservatory. Tables in the breakfast room, conservatory and in nice weather outside on the terrace provide delightful spaces for eating meals. Guests are asked to maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen after use. I clean all communal rooms including bathrooms. Rent includes all bills and the grotty stuff like loo roll, soap, laundry powder and dishwasher tablets. Our previous lodgers recommend us and the house. We are a fairly easy going bunch and finding personalities who fit is the most important thing. Whilst we live very quietly generally we have a large family of adult children and very close friends who are all great fun and return at various times with partners and offspring to spend time with us so there is a lot fun to offset the quiet calm in between. This is not a household of routine, if you need routine do not call! We both work irregular patterns and so may be at home for days on end and then disappear for several long days, sometimes including w/ends. House location is very rural, quiet and tranquil, set in a large garden surrounded by fields. We are 8 miles from Aylesbury, Bicester and Buckingham. You will need a car as transport links are not within walking distance we do offer private driveway parking. We are only 1 hour from London by train, 25 mins by car from Oxford, 30 mins by car from MK, 15 mins by car to Bicester/Buckingham/Aylesbury.
