Large double bedroom available in my Victorian house, which has been fully refurbished since I bought it a couple of years ago. Wolverton train station is 10 min walk away (2 min ride to town, an hour to London) and there are good bus links. Tesco and Lidl and a few minutes walk away, there is a leisure centre with swimming pool close by. There is a great community feel here, with lots of local events and activities running. I chose it over a new-build area because of the feel and the access to great, independent restaurants/street food and drink.

The room has a comfortable double bed with new bedding and nearly new pocket spring mattress, blackout curtains and wardrobes/chest of drawers.

The upstairs bathroom is fitted out with a power shower over bath and there is a second shower room downstairs, with a new combi boiler providing instant hot water.

The fully equipped kitchen/utility has dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dryer and lots of storage space.

The main shared living space is a lounge and dining room with access to the back yard via full length French doors, which let in loads of natural light. There is a smart tv, so you can access your on-demand accounts.

At the back of the house is a small 'snug' seating area with a further set of French doors opening onto the patio, so even when it's chilly you can feel like you're outside. The house has a small, paved garden and large garage, accessed via rear service road, which has an electric door. You would have use of the garage for storage and there is a secure bike anchor attached to the interior wall

Rent includes bills (gas, electricity, water, broadband, council tax, fortnightly cleaning of communal areas), sole use of the bedroom and use of all shared spaces.

The house was bought to be my home and has been refurbished with that in mind, however job changes have put me too far away to daily commute. I will limit to two lodgers at any time and will be home some weekends.
