Recent empty-nester in north Scottish Highland seaside town. Rental is partially for extra income (though I'm a self-employed professional so income not vital) & partially for company. Looking for longer term let, after initial period to ensure we don't drive each other crazy...
Double room is newly decorated & furnished, has good storage, 32" Smart TV, wired ethernet connection, & I'm happy to discuss finishing touches with renter.
Have a small home gym & sauna that is freely use-able by renter. Good sized sitting room with large comfy couches, plenty of DVDs (& Netflix, but no TV license at present - open to discussion!) & great selection of CDs... esp. If you like 80s music. Kitchen has washer & dryer as well as usual facilities. House has fibre broadband, wifi, gas C/H, full bath/electric shower/toilet upstairs, plus separate shower/toilet downstairs. Garden front & back, & off road parking.
Am semi-retired & work from home - no set hours, so would prefer a renter who's not getting up very early or working weird shifts! Weekends are generally quiet & lazy. I enjoy meals in & out 'tho not a keen cook. Have a weekly cleaning service but happy to share other household tasks.
10 minutes walk to beach, 5 to river, short road trips to plentiful countryside & seaside walks, and superb views.
