We have 2 fully furnished rooms to let in a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom shared house in Newnham. Available to PhD/Masters students and or Professionals preferred.

You will be sharing the house with 1 other PhD student, 1 other student, and the host who assists the homeowner and visiting guests. 2 rooms have been dedicated to students and professional long term stays, and 2 rooms will remain as Bed & Breakfast rooms welcoming visitors to our lovely city.

The rooms available consist of a single bed, bedside table, desk, and closet. Available to move in almost immediately, after some quick touch ups, and reference checks. - UPDATE: We have now posted the rooms on Airbnb for the remainder of the summer, however please get in touch with serious interest.

1. Darwin Room - has a shared full bath / toilet combo and overlooks Hardwick Street, directly across from Darwin Student Accommodation

The bed has a *soft spring mattress base, with a memory foam topper. Bedding, linens etc. can be provided and can be covered by the deposit.

2. Wolfson Room - has a very compact ensuite shower / toilet combo, a soft spring mattress base with firmer topper, a folding desk as well and full length mirror.

This room is at the back if the house, and is quite petite and very private overlooking the back garden and churchyard.

The house temperature is kept on the cool side between 17C to 20C, to many this will be just right!

CONS
Having to share this beautiful house with your wonderful housemates :) On a more serious note - we do share the house with other guests as 2 rooms have been designated to B&B, and occasionally family visits. The homeowner visits regularly and sometimes takes over the house temporarily for business meetings.
The house temperature is maintained between 17C to 20C to some that may be too cool.
Tranquil and quiet, perhaps too quiet for some, and occasional street noise from the front of the house.
Minimalist with mixed vintage interior.
The small kitchen with very limited storage, or cupboard space and tiny fridge - is perhaps the biggest drawback.

The Final Agreement will be made with the homeowner who resides in Germany
