A friendly older person with memory issues and limited mobility is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation, and the reassurance of someone sleeping in the house overnight.

This person would appreciate a little practical help such as shopping, taking out bins and other miscellaneous errands and support, plus the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around their home in the evenings/overnight.

The accommodation on offer is a single bedroom furnished with a wardrobe, bookcase and there is room for a desk and chair. There is a shower room which is mainly for the Sharers use.

The property is conveniently located just 7 minutes’ walk to Cambridge train station

The person’s interests include reading The Guardian, enjoys crosswords, interested in art and architecture listening to jazz and classical music, reading short stories and poetry. Gardening is a big passion.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable female non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests.
