We have two lovely, fully furnished, rooms available to let short term from early October for a couple of months.

ABOUT US

We are Charlie and Sarah and have both recently left our jobs to take some out to travel the world. Our home is a newly renovated 3-bedroom house, and we want to rent out our two spare rooms whilst we are away. You will have the whole house to yourselves.
We have both rented before via spare room, so we understand that the process of renting isn’t always easy. We therefore endeavour to provide a space that feels comfortable, homely, and assist with any queries in a timely manner.

LOCATION

The property is in CB1 and is within easy walking distance of shops and the city centre. There is a lovely café at the end of the road, and there is a selection of big supermarkets within a 10-minute walk. The train station is also approximately a 10-minute walk away. The city centre is about a 15-minute walk away.

THE ROOMS

Room 1 - £1500 – Fully contained room on the top floor of the house, which has an ensuite bathroom.

Room 2 - £1200 – The second of the two rooms is on the middle floor of the house, which is adjacent to the main bathroom in the house. This room has a desk, which we are happy to keep in or remove, depending on your preference.

Both prices are fully inclusive of all bills. We are also happy to provide a fortnightly cleaner.

THE HOUSE

As well as the two bedrooms and bathrooms, you will also have the full downstairs living space which includes a large open plan kitchen / diner / living space + a separate front room which has a small sofa and desk, for anyone who wishes to use that space to work. There is also a small downstairs toilet.

All areas of the house are fully furnished, and the kitchen will come fully equipped with everything you will need – including a microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, washer / dryer etc.

Outside – at the side of the house there is a bike store where you can keep your bike safe and dry.

Cat lovers – we sadly don’t have any ourselves, but we do have a few regular neighbourhood visitors who like to pop by and say hello from time to time.

We are looking for tidy, friendly, and generally quiet people (the house is a terrace, and we are friendly with the neighbours on both sides). We understand that a home is to be lived in and expect general wear and tear that comes with that, but as a lot of our furniture and fixtures are brand new, we ask that it is kept in a good condition. :)
