To the north on Cambridge between the city centre to the A14. 5 mins drive from M11 A14 Junction, cycling/walking distance to the Science Park and Business Park. 12 min cycle to the city centre according to google (apparently only 11 minutes back, probably due to a few one way sections). The bus runs (Citi 1) every 10 minutes and the nearest bus stop is all of 100m away, that goes into town and all over Cambridge. PLUS runs to 2am at the weekends.
10 minute cycle from Cambridge North train station.

Local shops very nearby, bakery, butcher, budgens, chippy.

The house has a fairly large communal Kitchen/living room bit, with a table football table in the small conservatory (that's right).

2 bathrooms, 1 shower bathroom, 1 bath/shower bathroom, 1 separate loo.

Nice garden, and big shed, currently full of bikes and bits I am yet to get rid of.

2 parking spaces which are free to whomever gets to them first. For people who come back late, there is a car park about 15 metres away which is free to use by anyone, so parking is not a big issue.

We are 3 friendly people who are fairly sociable. We are all professionals with full time jobs. I'm a scientist who works on the outskirts of Cambridge.

I bought the house a few years ago and have been doing it up since. All the rooms are of a fairly good standard (new paint, new carpet, beds, storage, TV antenna, USB charger plug sockets, windows etc) and I am still doing things to the house so bathrooms etc will only get better (they are pretty good at the moment).

The room is on the first floor and is a fairly big double room with a sink, a wardrobe and a double bed with a north facing view over the driveway (arguably the best place to view the driveway).

Someone who is sociable is preferred as the kitchen/living room area leaves no place to hide.
