I have just bought my first house, and am looking for a friendly, professional person to rent my spare room. I haven’t yet finished painting, so have provided the estate agent’s particulars so you have an idea of the property. I’m hoping to have the house painted, furnished and ready for the beginning of the new year!
I’m offering a double bed with built-in wardrobe, which will be furnished with a double bed and bedside table, and maybe some extra storage (if you have any bedroom furniture of your own, that would be even better!). The main bathroom, with shower over bath, will be all yours. The house is cosy and warm, with underfloor heating, and benefits from two allocated parking spaces as well as visitor parking outside.
It’s 2 minutes walk to the river, and 5 minutes walk from the big Tesco, so a great location.
A bit about me : I’m a 28 year old lawyer, and other than work I like the gym, swing dancing and Ken Follett books, among other things. I’m hoping to live with somebody who will be keen to watch trash tv and share a bottle of wine now and again, but who will be tidy and respectful of the space.
Bills will be payable in addition to the rent. I’m not sure of the total yet, but expect it to be under £150 all inc.
