The space is private, quiet, spacious, clean, modern, cozy and comfortable.
We are in a quiet conservation area with easy access to many amenities.

Transport links to and from Longstanton are excellent (by car: 4 min from A14; 2 min from Guided Bus (free parking); superb cycle routes into Cambridge).
* There is private parking available on the premises/space in bikeshed.
* All Bills Included.
* High Speed broadband.
Suitable for the right person, for a reliable professional for 5-7 nights per week.

We prefer you to work day-shifts (I would have to be too mindful of noise during the day if you work night shifts).

We try to stay safe and keep others safe from Covid and have had both vaccinations. We hope to get the booster at some time in Autumn.

Fully furnished:
* comfortable double bed;
* small kitchen area (picture available, currently extended into L-shaped kitchen) with freestanding tall fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, sink, kettle, toaster, electric fruit mixer, microwave, oven, small portable cooking plate, smoke alarm.
The kitchen area is not suitable for preparing huge meals, there is no gas cooker, as there is no extraction hood; baking in butter or oil is NOT possible. The electric plate is fine for preparing a light meal.
* iron, ironing board and airer;
* seating area with comfortable chair/dining chair; desk with good quality office chair, built-in cupboard, WIFI, alarm-clock, reading lamp,
* TV connection point and TV (since the picture was taken a larger screen TV was installed);
* central heating and separate heating element so you can control the room temperature.
* The separate private bathroom contains a toilet, bath, shower, washbasins, towels on request.
* Your internal front door can be locked.
* Front garden quiet green space with garden bench.
The En-Suite is on the first floor and access is through the shared front door. We totally respect your privacy.
Strictly no open fire, such as candles permitted. The property is non-smoking; the owner is vegetarian.
We are a hardworking household. We will usually not socialise, but we are friendly and helpful and we react quickly should a repair be needed.

I occasionaly offer short "Homestay Tuition Courses" to one individual only at a time, teaching History of Art, Business English. Dutch, German at any level. I am a qualified tutor and DBS checked.
Two friendly cats live on the property and we kindly request you to be mindful of them when you drive off or park your car.

COOP (2 min walk), also Fish and Chips, Local Pub with good quality Chinese/Italian Restaurant and Take Away; Post Office Shop (Indian/Polish), Farm Shops.
5 MINUTE DRIVE AWAY:
Bar Hill Tesco (restaurants), Next, Dry Cleaners, Costa Coffee, Kwik Fit, Petrol Station.
Swavesey Foodcourt with Marks and Spencer, WHSmith, McDonalds, Mexican Food, Pasties, Costa Coffee etc.

TRANSPORT:
By car 4 minutes from the A14.
"Bus Stop nr 5" (1 minute walk) into Cambridge and surrounding villages/St. Ives.
Guided Busway (free parking) into Cambridge, Spire Lea, Science Parks, Cambridge North, Addenbrookes/Royal Papworth.
Excellent fast bike routes along the guided busway into Cambridge/or across Oakington Old Airfield-Girton-Cambridge.
Easy access into Northstowe.

We ask for a £ 150 security deposit, which will be refunded to you once you leave the room clean and undamaged.
We ask for a £ 50 cleaning fee, which is non-refundable.
We have some house rules, such as: strictly no smoking and strictly no open fire allowed. Thank you.
We ask for 1 month notice, which can be before the 15th or 1st of the month. A contract will be offered. Passport check.
