1 Double room in our great shared house

1 double room available in a great house share based in Trumpington, Cambridge.

The house is a 3 minute walk from the park and ride for buses to the city centre (max 10 min journey to city centre), the train station, and Cambridge biomedical campus. There are 2 supermarkets less than a 10 minute walk away, and it's a 10-15 minute bike ride to the train station or city centre.

The current housemates are coincidentally all scientists funnily enough! We have a lot of interests from running, cycling, climbing, hockey, reading, painting and board games. We each have our own interests and do our own thing, but also enjoy occasional meals together, board game nights, drinks in the pub or park runs.

The house has 8 bedrooms, including 7 doubles and 1 small single that we use as a spare room where friends can stay when coming to visit.

The double room available will share a bathroom with 2 other housemates, a large living area and kitchen with dining space, and a laundry room. 7 may seem like a lot of people, but the house is large enough that it doesn't feel overcrowded. There are 2 ovens and hobs, and loads of fridge/freezer/cupboard space. Most housemates are home during the week, and normally 2-5 on the average weekend. There is also plenty of free, on-street parking available, and a padlocked shed for bike storage.

The rooms are a good sized double, with the main bath and shower rooms shared between 2/3 people. We are ideally looking for someone who is tidy and looking to make friends and get involved with house life, as opposed to someone who is just looking for a place to stay.
