We are a professional couple with a hobby farm 16 miles north of Cambridge looking for a friendly and trustworthy working professional to lodge in our spacious and attractive detached modern home. We would like someone who is a dog and cat lover (and not allergic) as we have 3 friendly dogs and a cat who will no doubt welcome you each day. We also keep sheep and chickens on our smallholding so if you are keen on this kind of lifestyle, our home will be a great retreat from the hustle and bustle of work. We envisage that you would work from your place of work, not here, as we work from home ourselves.

Your space - a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room - is at the front end of our barn style house and affords a lot of privacy. Your room is very comfortably furnished with double bed, wardrobe, lowboy, chair, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers and mini fridge. The bathroom is well-equipped with bath, shower over, basin with cupboard under and loo. You also have the use of a small interconnecting sitting room with sofa, table and chairs.

We provide bed linen and towels (unless you prefer to use your own), the use of our kitchen with range cooker and dishwasher, and laundry room. You also have your own off-road parking space.

We expect you to keep your space clean and tidy as well as contributing to the shared areas.

Travel notes: It takes about 10 minutes to get to the station in Ely (traffic willing!) for trains to Peterborough, Cambridge, Norwich and Kings Lynn - and beyond. Cambridge is about 30 minutes in the car but again it does depend on the time of day and traffic.
