Georgian house in Cheadle

I have one room for rent in my detached Georgian house in the centre of Cheadle village, ideally Monday - Friday, but for the right person I would consider full time. It is close to shops and restaurants, and the transport links to Manchester, Stockport and the airport are good. Media City is also just 15 mins away by car.

My house is full of character and has an AGA kitchen, utility room, shared bathroom, shared living room, off road parking and wifi. The bedroom is tastefully decorated and has a double bed. The large garden is a real oasis and despite the village centre location it makes the setting feel fairly rural. There is also a nature reserve 2 mins walk away.

I am a cheerful optimist with a youthful outlook and good sense of humour who enjoys company, but also appreciates their own space. I am happy to share a glass or two of wine, but I'm definitely not a party animal! It is a relaxed household and I would hope to find housetrained and reasonably tidy flatmates with a similar outlook, and who are also happy to share with a live-in landlady and two large, but well behaved and good natured, non-drooly dogs. There is no expectation for any dog duties as I enjoy walking and running, but you would be very welcome to join me for a walk.
