Second floor, large, bright and airy room in a four bedroom, Edwardian house with a modern twist. Includes brand new double bed and bedding, Smart TV, table/desk, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster.

The room is pretty much self-contained apart from the (large) bathroom which you share only with me.

Off road parking. High speed broadband. Garden. Washing machine and tumble dryer. Downstairs loo. Alarmed bike storage if required.

I'm a writer, blogger and trainer and generally work from home. I live alone - you would be sharing this big house with me and my two cats - these are banned from the bedrooms. I'm looking for someone to share this ridiculously large house because it needs someone else in it. You can be as private and quiet as you like - would just be nice to know that someone else is here.

Transport - two minute walk to Gatley station with trains every 30 minutes to Manchester City Centre in one direction and the Airport in the other. Tram station five minutes by car or one stop on train. Regular buses to Stockport, Wythenshawe Hospital and Altrincham. Excellent motorway links - two minutes to the M60.

Walking distances – five minutes into Gatley Village with supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants, take-aways and bars. Nature Reserve and two parks. Close to John Lewis and other retail outlets. 10 minute walk to Cheadle Village. 15 minute walk to Cheadle Lakeside Business Park.

For an extra £5 per month, fortnightly room cleaning can be provided.
