Room for rent in Heaton Chapel

Decent sized room to rent in my house in heaton chapel. Ample parking available. 15 minute walk to heaton chapel train station/heaton moor shops and 9 minute train ride from the train station to Piccadilly. Very close to the M60, about a 5 minute drive. 20 minute drive to Manchester airport.

The house itself is on a cul de sac so is on a really quiet road. Cosmetically I’m in the middle of trying to get it looking tip top, so there are some areas that are a work in progress, but only to look at! Loads of stuff is new;. new boiler, new bathroom, new oven, new fridge, new tv (so everything that truly matters is brand spanning new!).

The room is a decent sized double - can come furnished or unfurnished depending on your preferences. The house has a shared bathroom, shared kitchen/diner and living room. There is also a garden that gets a decent amount of sunlight.

I often work 70 hour weeks so am not around too much - if I get time off I like to go travelling or around the country seeing friends. Other interests I have include going to the gym, cooking good meals/eating out, comedy, live music and films. If I finish a shift you will often find me watching telly on the sofa, at the gym, in the bath or trying to catch up on sleep!

I need a housemate who is clean. Happy to be sociable, although I often work nights so need you to be respectful about shift work. Pets will be considered, I would need to meet them first.

All bills included except I also get a cleaner fortnightly for 2 hours. It’s £13.50 each per week, so that would be an additional cost.

It should go without saying, but housemates of any sexual orientation welcome.
