I'm looking for a professional female to rent a double room in my house in Stockport.

My house is in a handy location; one minute drive to the Portwood roundabout in Stockport where you access the M60. You can walk to Stockport centre in about 5 minutes. Lots of public transport links are on the doorstep too.

Vernon Park / Woodbank Park is at the bottom of my road so although it's handy for the town centre, there's plenty of green space just round the corner.

Shopping is convenient - corner shop is 30 seconds away also close to Aldi, Lidl, Tesco and a Co-Op. There are plenty of pubs and fast food places nearby.

The street is a little terraced strip, but it's a dead end, so it's a quiet spot & it’s easy to park a car close to the house.

I have a small yard which is a sun trap, great for drying washing and/or sitting outside.

The room comes with a double bed, mattress, bedside cabinet and chest of drawers - these can be moved if required. I have a loft room with easy access via a step ladder - there's plenty of storage space which you'll be able to use.
I’ve had a gorgeous new bathroom fitted, it has a walk in shower & is decorated to a high standard 😊

You'll have access to Virgin TV and wifi. Decent sized TV - a nice comfy place to relax after work.

Brand new kitchen has been fitted. The new kitchen diner has all the usual amenities: fridge freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, etc. I’m adding finishing touches over the next couple of months (with the rent money 😁), but the kitchen is perfectly usable & spacious.

I am a friendly person and easy to get along with. I am laid back but of course I want someone who will treat my house as if it's their own and keep common areas clean and tidy. I would respect your privacy but it would be nice to become friends too :)

I have a five year old rescue cat, she’s really timid so it’s likely that you might not see her that much. She will probably stay out of your way as much as she can...! But it would be great if you’re an animal lover. She sleeps in my room and is very low maintenance, but I take care of everything for her anyway.

I work Monday - Friday and attend gym classes throughout the week, so when I get home from work I cook my tea, watch a bit of TV and get to bed.

I'm usually busy at weekends too, seeing family / friends. I go out or have the girls round for drinks in occasionally. Hopefully my new housemate will also become a good friend and welcome to join nights out / in.

A small deposit is required, which is £250 and rent is payable monthly in advance.
