Re-available as my lodger has emigrated to Canada....

I have a single room to rent in my house which is located between Little Petherick and Padstow. I'll say right now that you need to be a dog lover and not allergic to them! I have a Jack Russell called Sybil and I look after another Jack Russell 4 days a week. I sometimes look after friends' dogs too when they go away. I am a dog person...but not a mad one!

My house is an ex council property in the countryside and your room has fabulous views to Trevose Head and across the river to Porthilly. There are gardens to the front where you're welcome to sit and soak up the sun, read or just chill.

I am a keen (obsessed?) cyclist and compete locally in road races and time trials. I am on a bus route in case you don't drive.

You have use of all the house facilities including a washing machine and I also have super fast broadband directly to the house too. The kitchen is well equipped and I don't mind cooking if you want to share meals from time to time (even better if you want to cook...as long as it's plant based for me).

I would expect you to be reasonably clean and tidy and to help out with some of the housework...I'm not house proud and overly meticulous.

Lifestyle wise: I am an early riser and in the summer, that can mean 5am. Consequently, I'm quite early to bed too so I would prefer someone with a similar way of living...no, you don't have to be up at sparrow's fart but just not noisy after 9pm or so. The house has a friendly, laid back vibe so I'm told! I would prefer somebody who goes out to work rather than works from home.
