About the Property

Bills are not included but are ~£50-60 per month (gas & electric & water & fibre WiFi). Council tax Band B ~£100 per month w/o income-based reduction (NB: full time students are exempt from paying council tax). Quiet area ideal for single professional or postgraduate / undergraduate / mature student. No couples. Caged pets permitted with landlord permission (no cats/dogs, sorry!).

About Me
I'm a 22 yr old Durham university graduate. I'm living in Durham and I currently work full time / professional. I am moving for graduate school elsewhere in the UK in late August/early September, however my current housemate is moving out in May so I am looking for someone on a short (3 mos) to cover this period. I'm quiet, easygoing, tidy and like to make friends. My interests include science, art, medicine, music, sociology, cooking, LGBTQ+, animals, plants.
About You?
I'm looking for a person to share a flat and hopefully become friends with! I would prefer someone under 35 but am flexible. Any gender, women preferred. I don't mind if you are a smoker, but you'll have to smoke outside (terms of the lease). Caged pets are allowed but no cats/dogs, sorry! (terms of the lease). I would prefer someone quiet, and clean/tidy who is happy to help out once a month to clean shared areas, and to do dishes/empty bins on a regular basis. You will need to be LGBTQ+ friendly / an ally, or ideally be a member of the community yourself. I'd also like to get to know you a little bit before signing on.
