A cosy room on the 2nd floor overlooking the garden is available from 1st September. The room is furnished with a small double bed, wardrobe, desk and chair, bookshelf. The rent is £450pcm.

Another room on the 2nd floor overlooking the road (its a quiet cul de sac) is available from 1 September. The room is furnished with a small double bed, wardrobe, bookshelf, desk and chair. The rent is £465pcm.

The shower room on the same floor is fitted with walk in shower, basin and toilet. It is shared with 2 other tenants (as 1 tenant has the ensuite room).

The lovely ensuite room on the 1st floor overlooking the garden is furnished with double bed, fitted wardrobes, desk and chair. The ensuite has a shower, basin and toilet. This room is available from 1 October and the rent is £625pcm

I will provide a double duvet, pillows and covers if required.

The rent includes all bills. A deposit of one month's rent is required in advance and will be held in a tenancy deposit scheme.

Confirmation of your student status and your student ID number must be confirmed with your deposit as the Council require this from me to prove the exemption from Council tax.

To maintain a harmonious household we're looking for a student tenant who is sociable but respectful of others and willing to take their turn in keeping the house clean and tidy. I issue a rota for the term.

--The tenants--
You would be sharing with post grad students at Durham university. The rooms are for single occupancy.

Our modern townhouse is in Gilesgate area, near to bus stops and in walking distance of supermarkets and shops and approximately 30 minute walk downhill into the city centre. The house is located in a peaceful cul de sac and many of the nearby houses are occupied by professionals and families.

The shared kitchen/dining area is fully equipped and has space to socialise together looking out onto the garden.

There is a shared toilet on the ground floor and a small room on the top floor for drying your laundry if you prefer not to use the tumble dryer in the garage.

In the summer, you can enjoy sitting in the garden and we ask the tenants to take a turn mowing the lawn!

The house is strictly for non smokers. Sorry, if you smoke or vape please look elsewhere.
