Single room for postgrads in Gilesgate!

A single room is available in this recently renovated (and very lovely) house in Gilesgate, available to rent now or from Sept/Oct on a yearly basis.

The rent is £300 a month, and I'm looking for a considerate, friendly and tidy postgrad housemate to join me and my postdoc housemate, Katie. The house is very clean and quiet and has a large living/dining room, a brand new kitchen and bathroom and a big back garden with a vegetable patch. There's also bike storage in a secure outhouse if you fancy braving Durham's hills on two wheels!

The house is on Montgomery Rd, and is less than five minutes' walk to Sainsbury's and fifteen minutes to the town centre, as well as being on the bus route to and from town, Tesco and the Arnison Centre.

The house is fully furnished and has all of the amenities you could want - fast internet, a new bathroom, a washing machine and tumble drier, a television, kitchen electricals, a large fridge-freezer and plenty of storage space in the kitchen. The photos of the house were taken last year, but the only real difference is that the kitchen has been painted and the houseplants have grownand multiplied! The landlord is also very responsive and helpful.
