Large Room in house with Spectacular Views in Middleton in Teesdale (an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).

The house is set in an elevated position up off a quiet road, with gardens at the front and side.

The Room to let is south facing at the front of the house. There is a view across the fell towards Kirk Carrion (a bronze age burial site) and also a field with a giant redwood tree.

It is a characterful spacious room, that has plenty of light. It is furnished with a double Bed, bedside tables and lamps. There is a dressing table, built in wardrobe.

Available full time or Mon to Fri.

We are a family home, I am a professional with school age son. We have two outdoor cats called Midnight and Luna.

We are a friendly open and relaxed household. We are happy to chat with you (watch TV listen to music or have a glass of wine) or let you have your privacy.

There is a shared family bathroom with shower and bath, there is a separate toilet. These are opposite the bedrooms off the main hall.

There is a shared living room with Wood-burning Stove, 42 inch TV. There is oil central heating.

There is off road Parking at the front and rear of the house. At the back of the house there is very easily accessible as the house is all on one level (it is an old building as it was originally it was the old pay office for the London Lead Mining Company).

There are very good transport links to Barnard Castle. Please see the bus timetables (attached photos).

The bus stop is a 5 minute walk away (in the centre of the village; where there is a GP surgery, Coop supermarket, Pharmacy, Newspaper shop, Hardware shop, Craft shop, Butchers shop, and Antique shop. four Cafes, two Pubs, There is also an award winning Fish and Chip shop.

At the back of the house it is a 3 minute walk and access to local woodland where it is possible to cycle, walk and go wild swimming.

Please note, ideally we're looking for a 6 month let, However, short-term lets would be considered in the interim. The pro-rata rent would be at a higher nightly rate than advertised depending upon the length of stay.
