House share in Sacriston

Welcome home!

Double bedroom with its own bathroom to let in my three bedoom house which is spacious and airy, with a sunny back garden.

There is easy access to Durham and Newcastle by local bus service. It is about three miles from Durham, and a mile from Pity Me, so handy for several large employers. It falls within the £1 per day bus fare ( £5 er week) ticket area. The village has quite a few things going on, and quite good facilities, including a library, coffee shop, health centre, farm shop, Tesco Metro, and several takeaways.

There is a shared sitting room and a separate dining room, also with casual seating, kitchen and bathroom. I am looking for someone to share the house, rather than just rent a room. All bills are included, and the house has high-speed broadband, and a cleaner comes once a fortnight to do the communal areas. There is a washing machine, a new cooker, and sole use of the bathroom for you, as I have my own bathroom.

The house would suit a professional person, who enjoys living a little way out of town. Either male or female, a non-smoker, someone happy to socialise but who is happy with their own company.

I am quite often away and am quiet when at home. I enjoy having friends over for dinner, or to stay, and love good company. I teach at Durham Business School, and also at Newcastle, and do consultancy.
