House share in comfortable furnished home

Looking for someone to share my beautiful home with - short and long term lets considered. Room is furnished with double ottoman (good for storage), bedside table, wardrobe and small kallax unit, so would suit someone who has little furniture or few personal items. Single person let only please.

The initial let will be on a provisional basis (with 1 months notice) before firming up longer-term let. This is to make sure the set up is right for both of us.

I am reasonably quiet and I work full time, so would prefer someone similar. I’m a teacher, so often do early mornings. If you are working from home, this will need to be reflected in the monthly cost due to an increase in bills. Lodger to equally share household chores for shared areas, as is expected for any conscientious adult.

I have two very friendly cats who will just love all the extra attention, if you’re happy to give it! If not, they’ll leave you to yourself, too.

In addition to my room and your room, there is another room available for guests, if arranged in advance.

Your room will come with exclusive use of a bathroom on the first floor. There is also a shared toilet downstairs, as well as shared facilities like kitchen and dining space. I am a vegetarian, though I don’t mind meat-eaters living with me, as long as they tidy up after themselves - but that’s true whatever your diet 😂

Designated off road parking is available for you if you have a vehicle. The area itself is in a quiet residential area only a mile out of Glossop’s town centre. The train station can take you into Manchester (and beyond!) within 30 minutes, so we’re well situated and well connected.
