Set in the garden of our country home, surrounded by fields and woods, this one bedroom comfortable & sunny cottage is ideal for nature lover, someone who loves swimming, trees, woodlands, animals, farming and rewilding.

It is essential you are a single, quiet, nature loving and animal loving, mature person - 45 +.

Tucked under the distinctive eyebrow eaves of our 1905 Arts & Crafts house, Hockmoor Garden Cottage is a comfortable home with some lovely views, original art, wifi, and central heating.

The rooms all look out onto the gardens and fields and the upstairs has views of Dartmoor in the distance.

On the ground floor there is a generous and beautiful kitchen/diner with wooden floors and handmade cupboards, and a downstairs loo/cloakroom.

Upstairs there is a large open plan room overlooking the gardens and Dartmoor, with bedroom and sitting room and en suite bathroom (shower and bath).

The Holybrook runs through our land and we are next door to Hembury Woods which leads to the magical Dart River. We're 10 minutes away from the higher Dartmoor wilderness.

The cottage is for short term let only - from one month to 6 months.
The cottage is fully furnished with beautiful art, and the kitchen is fully appointed with everything you could need.

It's for somebody who wants a ready-made beautiful home for a short-term let.

The rent is from £1,100 per calendar month, plus servicing costs, if you're staying for six months. A little bit more for shorter stays.

The rent includes all bills - electricity, gas, central heating, water, council tax and WiFi.

Servicing costs £150 pcm for a fortnightly full clean and linen and waste and sundries.
