Double room in relaxed house

Hello,

I’m looking to let a double room in the relaxed, professional two-bedroom house that I currently live in. My current housemate is moving out to move in with her partner.

The room is available from now until late July. I'll then be moving to a new house that I'm buying (1 min away and very similar/layout size to this one) and then will have a room for rent there - see separate add

The house is light and airy and in good condition. There is a living room, separate dining room, a recently refurbished kitchen and a spacious bathroom with bath/shower. The house has a washing machine, tumble drier, power shower and wi-fi. There is a good-sized garden at the back, which gets lots of sun. There is street parking (apply for a permit from the council, £30 per year) and plenty of space nearby.

The bedroom is a furnished double. It’s a sunny room with a window overlooking the gardenm so is nice and quiet. It has a chest of drawers, wardrobe, bedside table, a large built-in cupboard providing plenty of storage, as well as underbed storage space - and a period fireplace.

This is a relaxed house. I enjoy a natter and sharing hobbies but also like my own space. I enjoy relaxed evenings – playing sport, cooking, seeing friends and sometimes need to get on with work. I don’t eat much meat and tend to cook vegetarian or fish dishes. Having the right person to share my house is important – it’s a chilled place and I’m not a big drinker and rarely have big parties, but do enjoy having friends over for dinner. Although things are a little different at the moment with covid!

The location is great – walking distance to the quay, Exbridges and the city centre. There are also the local St Thomas amenities a couple of minutes’ walk away, including Coop, M&S food, post office, bank, pharmacy. It’s very close to the river if you enjoy running/walking/cycling and there is a gym nearby.
