We have a lovely light, south facing DOUBLE room to rent (Mon-Fri ONLY) in the garden apartment of our 4 storey Victorian semi-detached house in Mannamead, Plymouth. The room is in the garden apartment of the house (we live upstairs in the main house). The flat has its OWN SEPARATE front entrance.
There is a brand new kitchen, beautiful living room with original features including fireplace and stripped wooden floors; bathroom and separate toilet and you would have almost EXCLUSIVE USE of these areas as we only access them occasionally (e. g. to access storage areas/garden). There is a separate entrance to the apartment at the front of the house via a sunken courtyard, so you would have your own front door and a good degree of privacy. The bedroom and living room are both south facing and directly overlook the garden.
The house is a short distance from Mutley Plain and major bus routes, and a 10-15 min walk to the University, station and City Centre. Our children are now working away/abroad, so the house is only occupied by my husband and I.
We are looking for either a working professional or mature student and someone who would be quiet and respectful and who values their own privacy and peace. Please note, this is a MON-FRI let only.
We have a young and very friendly dog, so unfortunately cannot accept any pets.
