2-4-1! Double&Single in Calm, Friendly House Share

There are currently two female professionals and one male professional living in the house (teacher, care worker and fashion designer/teacher). The current tenants are all friendly and considerate and have a sense of humour! We’re looking for someone well balanced, with some similar interests :)

Interests of the current tenants include: Surfing, music, guitar, gaming, marine based activities, kayaking, diving, outdoor pursuits, camping, bike riding, climbing, philosophy, geography, art, yoga, socialising, festivals, cooking, skating, and many more.

The age range for the house is 21 to 41. Sorry but no pets, couples or DSS.

The room available is a double bedroom which comes with a single bedroom that can be used as a study, for storage, or whatever. The bedroom is a small double but well set out with a double bed, two wardrobes and a desk. It's an attractive light room with lovely large bay windows and is situated at the back of the house away from the road so very quiet. The single room is a nice room with wardrobes and a desk. It would be ideal for someone who does some work from home and likes to keep their work space and bedroom separate and would particularly suit a mature or PhD student. The house also has a large loft to store additional items and keep the room comfortable and clutter free.

The house is in a great location, in Lipson, approx. 15mins walk from town and the university. It is on a quiet street on the edge of St Judes, so just outside the main student area. There are several handy shops at the bottom of the street (co-op, boots, dry-cleaners, and a take-away) and three parks within just a few minutes walk. There are always plenty of spaces to park outside the house.

The house is light and spacious, with contemporary design and good quality furniture throughout. Downstairs there is: a large living room, a double bedroom, a large kitchen with separate utility room (with washing machine/tumble drier, dishwasher, refrigerator, large fridge freezer, freezer and the usual appliances) and a toilet and washbasin. Upstairs there are: three double bedrooms, a single bedroom/study and a bathroom (with bath + shower overhead). There is a nice south facing courtyard that gets the sun most of the day, with enough space to store bicycles. The house has the fastest broadband available from Virgin and a special booster to ensure a good connection in every room. There is a cleaner for the communal areas. All bills included (broadband, TV, cleaner, utilities etc), but are capped to a reasonable level.

*NEW BOILER FITTED 2nd November 2018 + 2 new electric heaters to keep everyone cosy.

I have lived in the house for just over a year now and love the property! Jon is very helpful when it comes to any questions or things that need doing. Although he doesn’t love in Plymouth he sorts it straight away. Just before Xmas last year our tv packed up and Jon let us choose and paid for a new one for us :) the house is comfortable and cosy and ideal for someone who likes to socialise but needs their own space once in a while.
