To share a large quiet bungalow (photo 1) with a large garden (photo 2) close to the moor and golf club (photo 3) and 10 minutes walk from the centre of Tavistock. There is a large and light living room suitable for hosting social groups (photo 4), dining/coffee room (photo 5), laundry room with a separate room for the washing machines (photo 6), large kitchen with table and seating (photo 7), bathroom with shower cubicle, bath, sink and toilet, another internal toilet with one outside and 3 double bedrooms. One bedroom is used as a bedroom/study by the landlord, one is to be kept as a guest room (moderate use included in rent) and one is to be let. The let room (photo 8) is suitable as a bedroom/study since the L-shape of the bungalow means talking, music or TV in the main living area is not heard in the bedrooms. The room has a wall of built-in wardrobe/cupboards with further storage in the loft, garage and under the house. Outside there is space for several cars on the drive (photo 9) and if gardening is an interest a number of borders could be made available and possibly a vegetable patch (included in rent). Under the house there is heated storage and a small workshop with saw bench, drill and lathe.

The landlord is a reasonably easy going ex-academic in his 50s looking to start working largely from home. A non-smoker would be preferred. No smoking in the house but smoking in the garden, porch and patio is OK. Some pets such as quiet well behaved dogs would be fine but noisy ill disciplined ones would not. A single person is strongly preferred but a couple might just be considered with a 50% increase in rent and the household bills split 3 ways.

The rent is £400 per month plus 50% of household bills. Unfortunately council tax is high for this type of property and the household bills are around £500 a month. Could agree a fixed, bills included rent if preferred.
