[Unavailable as recently rented]. Hi, I’m Michael. I am a busy professional who lives in a quiet, beautiful architect designed four-bedroom house in the center of Totnes. The house is located at the top of the town, with expansive views of the surrounding Devon countryside, about 30 seconds from the market and 12 minutes walk from the train station.

The room available is a lovely, spacious double room with hardwood floors, a private hallway and double en suite bathroom. There is also a utility room for laundry. The room is fully furnished with a small refrigerator, chest of drawers and open-styled wardrobe. Possibility for use of a small kitchenette.

I have an unpredictable schedule, with short writing deadlines and I therefore value my peace, privacy and space. I also travel frequently. I am looking for a quiet respectful professional between the age of 28 and 60 who is tidy, conscientious and without pets. No overnight guests, no smoking and preferably vegetarian. The arrangement will be based on an initial 1-month trial period with extension to 3-month verbal commitment periods, thereafter.

A long-term (>1 yr) female house mate has just move on, which is the reason for this room becoming vacant.
