A few simple rules for staying with us 😊
1. Available immediately
2. Perfect for anyone interning or working in J P Morgan, Royal Bournemouth Hospital, Personal care workers and the likes; on the U3 bus route to the University
3. Parking on street and driveway available (for bicycles/bikes)
4. 5 mins walk to Parkwood road bus stop (U3, M1, 1, 1A, 1B and 2 bus routes). 10 mins walk to either Boscombe bus station and high street, Pokesdown train station, beaches, kings park and Southbourne high street
5. This is a vegetarian household, with very few exceptions that can be discussed on an as-needed basis. Absolutely no beef is allowed to be brought in
6. This is not a bed & breakfast arrangement, so you will have to manage to source your own meals.
7. We follow a very simple vegetarian diet (Indian cuisine; moderately spiced). If you are happy to have that for a meal on a regular or ad-hoc (if informed well in advance) basis, that can be considered for a reasonable charge.
8. We cannot cater to dietary restrictions to specific allergies; the kitchen has nuts, gluten, spices, and dairy products used and stored at all times
9. Laundry 1 load @ £ 5/-. Please clean up after you use the kitchen i. e., counter top, cutlery etc., if you use the fridge for storage, please remove out of date stuff in time and ensure any spillages etc., are cleaned adequately
10. You are responsible for keeping your room clean and tidy; ensure trash is disposed in the appropriate bins kept outdoors. Let us know when you need a change of linens. Use bathrooms hygienically and ensure you clean up after
11. No loud music, parties or visitors allowed at any time
12. Pets not allowed; no smoking or drinking indoors. If you use recreational drugs, we will not be able to accommodate you unfortunately
13. Rent to be paid weekly and in advance; reconfirm the weekly payable when you arrive; can be slightly reduced rates for weekday boarders
14. Amicable sharing of the common amenities to ensure no one gets delayed/inconvenienced unnecessarily, jokingly or vindictively 😊. Morning hours are generally rush hours, just so you know
15. We will be accessing the room for random checks/vacuuming etc., please be aware of that.
16. Feel free to use the garden space if you like and TV too if you want to watch some shows.
17. We have a miniscule collection of books.. and keep adding some titles occasionally.. feel free to dig into any of the books if it interests you
18. Please provide a copy of your identification proof and preferably your LinkedIn profile. Also, please give us one or two emergency contacts to reach out to, just in case.
19. No outside footwear in the house – you are welcome to use a pair of house slippers if you like

Lastly, this is a family home and there are 2 children in the unit, just so you know 😊 we are happy to have you over. For you, it can still be a family away from your family as much or as little as you want it to be 😊
