One double room to let in Central Dumfries.

On the top floor of a Georgian town house. Close to buses, amenities and all the shops.

This house has been completely Covid-free since March 2020. The people living in the house have both taken isolation and the covid contact rules very seriously.
So you can rest assured that this place has not been contaminated by the Virus.

You will have the share of the common rooms, Kitchen, Living room, Bathroom and Laundry facilities.

Included in the price are all bills C. T. and hi-speed wireless broadband, Loo paper, sheets and towels. dishwasher tablets cleaning materials etc. laundry liquid for your clothes is not included.

We are both quiet people, (not partners) and like being able to work uninterrupted during the day. we occasionally meet together and hang out in the evening.

I work away from home and am often away, but when I am at home I rest in my own two rooms, only socialising infrequently.

The other occupant works in town and also out in the countryside but is also used to being solitary. The person who would enjoy being here will be a similar type of person, self-sufficient, happy with their own company.

The room and situation might suit someone working in the hospital on long hours who will need a quiet space to chill in after work, but with company and amenities when it is needed. The room has shutters and curtains, so can provide a very effective black-out if necessary.

If you are a couple looking for a room for a while, I am happy to consider you, but the rent would have to be adjusted to take into consideration the extra wear and tear on the furniture, and extra utilities usage. i. e. two people showering etc.
