We, Tim & Reitta (and Belle - Our very friendly dog) have a double room available to rent in our 3-bedroom home in New Winton, Tranent, East Lothian.

Duration: 8th September onwards

£50 per night.

The room features a super king size (super comfy) bed, large built-in wardrobes, large bedside cabinets, drawer unit, hair dryer & TV.
All linen, towels are provided, bills are included together with free wi-fi (with Amazon Alexa and Amazon Fire Stick in the room).
Pets and smokers welcome (Smoking in specific areas only)

The shared rooms / facilities include the family bathroom (with an over bath shower), kitchen (with electric oven & hob, large fridge and freezer, washer & dryer), dining room, large living room and outside there is free on-street parking, a large private garden complete with a summer house, large deck for meals outside, relaxing & also a hot tub, which you are more than welcome to utilise.

New Winton is a picturesque, rural village situated approximately one mile southeast of Tranent. it also has been designated a conservation area to ensure the village retains its charm. It is ideally placed for commuting to Edinburgh with access to the city bypass approximately 10 minutes away by car. (Your own transport would be a must).
There are also train stations, with free parking, in Prestonpans and Wallyford offering quick and convenient travel to Edinburgh city centre. New Winton is also well placed for access to East Lothian’s beautiful countryside and fine coastline and there are numerous countryside walks available right outside the front door.

Shopping facilities can be found locally in Tranent as well as a wide range of leisure and recreational facilities. It is also conveniently located for the extensive shopping outlets at Newcraighall and Straiton Retail Park.
There are also numerous local pubs, clubs & restaurants in the 3 nearby villages – Ormiston, Pencaitland and Tranent – All just over a mile from the house.

The rental is self-catering, with use of all the kitchen appliances, however we would welcome an individual or couple who would like to share our home, join us for mealtimes and time relaxing around the house / garden, but who also value their own space & privacy!

Tim works from home and is normally around & Retta works in a local nursing home.
