The annex is perfect for a professional single person and although perfectly formed, it’s not big enough for a couple, so I will ONLY consider a single tenant.

Available to view/rent now, this stunning self-contained studio Annex sits within a traditional Sussex tile hung cottage, it is set well back from the road, and offers a peaceful retreat in a beautiful countryside location.

The Annex was completed in 2015 and is finished to a very high standard, with solid oak flooring to the bed/sitting room and plenty of storage in the built-in wardrobes and cupboards. There’s a double divan bed with storage draws, 2 bedside tables and a sofa.

The luxury painted oak kitchen comes with a small table and 2 chairs and is fitted with an integrated fridge/freezer, oven, induction hob, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and butlers sink and has natural stone floors with underfloor heating.

There is also a luxury floor to ceiling stone wet room, with waterfall shower, stone sink, heated towel rail, shaver power socket and underfloor heating.

The rent includes: Water, electricity (up to a maximum of £50 per month, there is a separate meter for the annex) and fibre broadband.

You must like dogs to live here, as I have 3 friendly dogs. I would consider allowing a friendly dog to join you, assuming it is not left alone all day while you are at work and obviously it would need to get on with my dogs.

The back garden is for the use of the main house only, but you are very welcome to use the private/secluded, gated front garden and lawn if you wish.

Uckfield & Buxted Train Stations are both less than 10 minutes’ drive away and trains from both stations run into London Bridge. There’s a bus service into Uckfield that stops right outside the property.

There is no parking available on the driveway, but there is plenty of private off road parking less than 30 seconds walk from the house.

In the village there is the fabulous Blackboys Inn which offers wonderful food and they also offer B&B in case you would like friends or family to come and stay.

A short let would also be considered with a rent adjustment.
