Double bedroom in central Victorian house

Ad ref# 15012916

Hi, we are three females, Kerry (30), Simona (27) & Jessie (27), looking for a friendly, fun, clean and considerate housemate. We would like someone who wants a home for long-term instead of just a few months. We are looking for a housemate in the age range of 25-35ish. We would love to live with a fellow veggie/vegan.

We haven't managed to do much lately, but when we do get together we like to be social as a house and watch films, play a board game, go to the beach in the summer together and just hang out from time to time but we also have our own, often busy lives going on. We try to be considerate of each-other and keep the house nice and clean and would like to live with a like-minded individual. The most important thing is that we all feel like this is our home & we are happy here.

We are a friendly house and always love a good chat and laugh together, we are all quite creative, we like a good film, TV show or book, walks, yoga, dance (Forró) (2 vegans, 1 veggie/occasional pescatarian).

The bedroom is a lovely room on the top floor with a built-in wardrobe. It currently has a single bed but there is room for a double.

We have a nice, comfortable living room /dining room, a separate kitchen, and one bathroom. At the front of the house we have a paved garden with lots of potted plants and a picnic bench.

We are centrally located just minutes from Brighton station, Churchill Square and the North Laines. Please get in touch and tell us about yourself, if the house sounds like what you are looking for!

Parking: there is no parking at the property. We are in Zone Y for permits. Which can take a while to get.

For bills we currently pay £200 each per month as we are trying to build up a bit of a safety net for the winter which has really helped us out! The last set of bills we had worked out as £150 each. We try to be careful with our consumption so hopefully our bills won't get too high. (this includes gas, electricity, water, council tax & wifi) so the total cost at the mo would be £650

The deposit is £452.50.
There is no fee to renew the contract.
We each put £5 in a kitty each month for household expenses. (Loo roll, soap etc)
We have a cleaning rota which switches every two weeks we find it really helpful and it makes things much more fair and easy with the chores.

We are getting a lot of interest in the room so if you are interested please message us with information about yourself so that we don't have to keep asking for basic information about people. here are some things we would like to know

How old are you?

What do you do for work/study?

If you're a student (we aren't) are you willing to contribute equally towards council tax?

Would you say that you're a clean and tidy person?

Do you like to be very social in a house or do you prefer to have your own space more?

Do you have any hobbies?

Do you smoke?

Do you like going out a lot?

How long would you be hoping to live here?

Are you veggie/vegan?
We look forward to hearing from you, Kerry, Simona & Jessie ☺️
