Old Town: Double room, lots of light

We are currently looking for a 2nd lodger/housemate to share our house in Eastbourne's Old Town. It's in a quiet road, near Motcombe Gardens, St Mary's Church and The Lamb. Old Town Recreation Ground, Gildredge Park and the South Downs also within easy reach, as well as a supermarket (Waitrose) + some smaller shops, cafés and restaurants. Bus stop nearby, and it's not far away from the station either - you could even walk there. In our opinion, the location is brilliant! Why not discover it for yourself?

The room we have to offer (~ 11 m², £ 470/month, deposit £ 470) is on the 1st floor at the back of the house. There's a shower room on the ground floor for our lodgers, and a WC on the 1st floor near their bedrooms. The bathroom on the 2nd floor would be ours. We'd be sharing the kitchen (~ 10 m²), living/dining room (~ 31 m²) and South-facing garden. The house is a red-brick Edwardian end-of-terrace, with big windows and a few period features.

Since my husband is still working in Germany, you'd actually be sharing with our lodger Olena (she's from Ukraine) and me - Monica - most of the time. Her interests: Walking long distances, drawing, reading... I'd mention people, books, films, swimming, skiing, baking… Also love spending time in different countries. I'm a freelance language teacher, my work is fairly portable. And my children look after themselves these days.
