Our housemates (a couple) are moving out to their own place, so their second floor room is available to rent.

We really enjoy living in this part of town - you can walk on to the South Downs, be in town on public transport in 20-30mins, we live in a big house, have a garden, park for free, and get on to the A27 in minutes.

The double room has its own staircase up, door with lock, and an en suite shower and sink. There is also a bath on the first floor, and separate toilet, as well as a toilet on the ground floor.

The room has two velux windows giving an ace view of the stars on a clear night! There is also a box room on the first floor which our current housemates use as a study space which could also be yours if you wanted / needed.

It’s a lovely large house and our landlord is a gem. The house has two communal rooms on the ground floor as well as a kitchen (With dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine) and dining space, a garden and garage. There’s off street parking and also parking on the road outside for free, where you can always find a space. We're also a short walk to the number 5 bus stop and about a 10/15 min walk to Portslade Train Station.

You’ll be living with myself and Charlie, both women. We both work full time, like to have a chat when we’re both at home, share a glass of wine or watch a film at the weekend. It’s a friendly, quiet and respectful house. We like to keep it clean and share responsibility for doing so (yes, we have a rota and are pretty good at sticking to it!) as well as buying shared house essentials.

Monthly rent is £550 plus bills which are currently about £150 a month but likely to do down as we go from a couple to a single occupant. If you need the room to be furnished we're happy to help you find some furniture!

We’re looking for someone who is friendly and sociable but also recognises that living in a shared house sometimes people like some space! A 9-5 professional would be ideal but open to others too!
