Room to Rent in Lovely Hove

Hi there!

I’m looking for someone to take over my cosy attic room from November 28th. I've lived here happily for 4 years but am now going abroad! The tenancy is a 9 month contract which you can renew if you wish to stay on.

The room:
A cosy attic room with sloping roof, furnished with a comfy memory foam mattress, wardrobe, desk, chair, shelves.

The house:
A large, 3 floor house in poets corner Hove, with a shared living room, office space, two bathrooms (bath and shower), a separate toilet, kitchen and gorgeous outdoor patio for relaxing, sunbathing, house BBQs etc!

Location:
We are just a 5 minutes walk from Aldrington station and a 10 minutes from Hove station. There is a co-op and sainsbury's two minutes walk from the house, as well as plenty of cafes, takeaways and other shops. Free parking is available 5 minutes walk from the house.

The living room has a big TV with plenty of games consoles, we also have Netflix, Amazon Prime and all that stuff! The office space also has a sofa and projector screen for watching films in the evening or just relaxing.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with all cutlery, crockery, pans for you to share. We also have a microwave, a washer/dryer and a dishwasher, as well as two large fridge freezers.

The rent is £440 a month. There is a £500 deposit which will be returned to you when you leave the property.. All bills are included in the rent. A cleaner also comes once a week to do the shared spaces and this is included in the rent too.

The current housemates:
We’re a friendly bunch of professionals with a real mix of jobs, including product design, music and property development. We like to spend time together inside and outside the house and support each other as a household. When we're not living the pandemic life we enjoy hanging out at the pub, going to gigs, cooking up a Sunday roast or just chilling out and watching crap TV! However we also understand that sometimes we all need our own space and time alone, so we respect each other’s privacy too.

We’re looking for someone who is friendly and sociable, easy-going and respectful of others. We treat the house as a home and each other as friends and would like you feel able to do the same.
