A large double room is available for weekday rental (not weekends). It has its own en-suite and a queen-sized bed. The en-suite bathroom has bath plus shower over, wash-basin and toilet - all sparkling white and with scarlet towels. There's also a desk, swivel chair and classic leather and chrome armchair.

Something of a hobbit house, the property is a very large chalet bungalow close to Hove Park and Hove recreation ground. The room is on the first floor and is a spacious roof conversion with views in 3 directions. In addition you'll share a funky lounge, immaculate dining area and spacious kitchen. Every weekend your room and bathroom are cleaned and sheets and towels are changed. There are no utility charges or extras.

Situated between Dyke Road and Hove Park, there's nearly 50m of free on-street parking and gardens on 4 sides. We're walking distance from Preston Park (20mins) and Hove (13 mins) stations and close to 2 bus routes into Brighton (21 and 27). We're also just 5 minutes' drive from the A27 Brighton by-pass and the main A23 to London.

There are currently 3 housemates, the owners (m/f couple) and one female professional - who have their own double rooms and private bathrooms. The owners have a private lounge as well.

There's just one house rule - respect your housemates, and leave the shared areas as you find them - pristine. That means cleaning up straight away - the dishwasher helps a lot, and all crockery, cutlery and pans are provided. Occasionally we eat together but mostly we do our own thing. Oh, and please, no outdoor shoes indoors (I know, that's a second rule).

The rent is £525 pcm. For short lets of a month or less it's £190pw.
