About the room:

A lovely bright and airy room at the front of the flat overlooking Sussex Square Gardens. The room is available Monday to Friday only and can either be furnished or unfurnished.

About the flat and area:

The flat is in a beautiful Edwardian building, it has a large lounge with high ceilings and overlooks the square; there’s a fully fitted kitchen with an electric cooker, a washing machine and a dining table to sit and eat your breakie at.

The best thing about the flat is that we have access to Sussex Square gardens (both parts) which is for residents only and is absolutely beautiful. Marmalade café is situated around the corner; it’s a 10 minute walk to the sea (you can actually see the sea if you stick your head out of the lounge window) and Lidl and Co-op are just around the corner. There's also a couple of pubs within walking distance.

The flat is on a good bus route: 7 (to the station), 1, 1A (to Churchill sq) and 23 (to the universities) and there’s a Brighton Bikeshare hub nearby. There are pay & display spaces on the square.

We are a 5 minute walk to Sussex County Hospital, so this is a perfect location for any health professionals.

About me: I'm a young at heart 40something! ;) I work as a healthcare professional (occupational therapist) in the sports industry enabling people with disabilities and long-term conditions to participate in sport. I usually work in London and sometimes stay up their midweek so you'll have the place to yourself at times, other times I maybe working from home due to Covid-19.

I'm very easy going and sociable - I'm normally out and about playing volleyball, sea swimming or mountain biking; however I do occasionally like to relax in front of the TV with a glass of wine! I also like my own space at times and respect others who like theirs too. I keep the flat very clean and tidy.

About you:

I would like to share my flat with someone who is respectful of social distancing etc, as I work with vulnerable people. If you are sociable but also enjoy your own space and privacy at times we will get on perfectly. I love my flat and keep it as clean and tidy as possible so that it's a nice, relaxing and clutter-free environment. So someone tidy would be perfect :) No couples please.
